Lifelong Pediatric Relationships Through The Years For Teens and Beyond

Acorn Pediatrics provides patient-centered care to middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, and beyond. As long as you need us, we’re here for you.

We recommend regular checkups for teens and young adults. Many of our older patients have been with us since they were little. The relationships we’ve built with them over the years gives them a safe, trusted space to talk openly about their physical and mental health. We work hard to make teens and young adults feel heard and empowered.

Just as we do for our younger patients, we offer teens and young adults yearly physicals, sports physicals, same-day sick visits, and consultations for a variety of needs, such as medication management, mental and emotional health, and learning differences. For young adults with chronic illnesses, we work with them to begin to take more control over the management of their illness.

When it comes to our older patients, we make sure they have the tools to be strong health advocates throughout their lives. We encourage them to speak up for themselves and take control of their wellness. We want parents to ask questions and voice your concerns as well. Sometimes it can be hard to know what questions to ask, so here are a few of our favorite health resources for teens and young adults.
